This week's message covered Jesus' first miracle at the wedding at Cana. Consider these questions.
- Chris talked about the ceremonial washing jars, the vessels people used to make themselves clean enough to come to God. Where in your own life have you felt like you had to clean yourself up before God would want anything to do with you?
- Jesus doesn't just meet the need at the wedding; he floods it. 180 gallons of the best wine. Where would you like to see God's generosity show up in your life right now, even if you've stopped expecting it?
- Mary brings the problem to Jesus, hears what sounds like a no, and still tells the servants to do whatever he says. What is one thing you've stopped asking Jesus for that you might be willing to bring back to him this week?
- Chris ended with the reminder that we're all invited to the party. Who in your life has felt on the outside of celebrations like this one, and what would it look like for you to help them feel invited?
