Every series is built on top of a bigger picture — where a student is developmentally, and what they need next. Here's the arc we build every curriculum around.
Middle School
Me · You · UsThree years, moving from self, to others, to the whole body.
Sixth graders are just starting to ask questions on their own instead of borrowing their parents' faith. This year is about helping them build a real, personal relationship with Jesus — not a performance for the room. Lessons stay simple and identity-focused: who God says they are, and why that's safe ground to stand on during a year full of change.

Seventh grade is the year the world gets bigger. Students start noticing that the kid next to them has a story, a struggle, and feelings too — and that noticing is where empathy begins. We use this year to move students from self-focus toward service: small, concrete ways to put someone else first, well before it feels natural.

By eighth grade, students are ready to stop treating church as something that happens to them and start seeing themselves as part of it. This year is about ownership of the group — realizing their choices affect the whole room, and that they can actually do something meaningful together now, not just wait to grow up first.

High School
Belong · Explore · Own · LeadFour years, four postures — each one building on the last.
Freshman year is a fresh start — new school, new social map, and often a real question of whether they still belong anywhere. Before we ask a ninth grader to believe anything complicated, we want them to feel safely, unmistakably at home: known by name, missed when they're gone, and sure their place here isn't conditional on performing.

Sophomores are old enough to start asking real questions — and we want them asking them here, not just online at 1am. This year makes room for genuine exploration: what do I actually believe, as opposed to what I was told to believe, and why? We'd rather a student wrestle honestly in a small group than perform a certainty they don't actually feel.
Always be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in you.1 Peter 3:15
Junior year is where faith either becomes theirs or stays borrowed. Students are old enough now to make real commitments — not because a parent or leader is watching, but because they've actually decided it's true. We push toward ownership here: personal habits, personal convictions, and a faith that would survive leaving this room.

Seniors are about to leave — so this year is about handing off what they've been given, not just receiving more of it. We push seniors into real leadership: discipling younger students, running small groups, being the leader a nervous freshman needed three years ago. The goal is a graduate who keeps pursuing Jesus long after the ministry can't reach them anymore.
