This week's message challenged us to rethink who we might be blaming in our lives and reassess the people who society is calling us to blame today. Consider these questions.
1. Read Amos 5:21-24 and Luke 4:18-20 what similarities and differences do you notice?
2. What groups of people are current scapegoats in today’s society? In what ways can we purposefully employ our love and resources to seek out these groups?
3. Why does Jesus welcome the inclusion of all people in the Kingdom of God?
4. What can we learn from Jesus confronting those who scapegoated others and built barriers, and how does it challenge us today?
