Power is important. Oftentimes, power is the driver of our actions and our motives. Sometimes, power is what draws us to someone or something. After His defeat of death, power was something Jesus knew His disciples would need and something they would be given. But a powerful force like we read through in today’s message doesn’t have to be locked in time to a 1st-century church experience. Jesus’ presence and power are things we can experience and SEE in our 21st-century lives today.
