Today we celebrate Good Friday. But a close look at the events of that day in history reveals a lot of terrible things: Jesus’ betrayal by his closest friends, a politically-driven mock trial of a completely innocent man, the torture and execution of that man. What about any of this is good? Come and sit with us as we uncover why this is a Good Day. We will open the scriptures, sing, take communion, and learn that there are good reasons why we call this Friday good.
