Getting Small & Hospitable

True Friends

Passage: Acts

The church started off small; just a few of Jesus' disciples and their friends and family who believed. They didn't have much, but they had each other! They continued meeting in the temple courtyard eve after Jesus' ascension and when they could no longer do that, they met in each others homes. With nothing but their hospitality to show each other, they carried out Jesus' commandments to go and make disciples. Even now, where we see megachurches and other large organizations around us in decline, we can still focus on His mission for us by showing each other hospitality, just as Jesus told us to. Join us for the last part of our series on true friendship with a message from Pastor Chris Stockhaus as he teaches us the biblical importance of how opening our homes for one another is all part of God's plan.
