1. When you think of feeling shame, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
2. What topics bring up shame when asked? (Example: marriage, starting a family, career, health)
3. Do you think your shame has put a wall up between you and God? And how about with others?
4. Pastor Steve mentions that a good way to start practicing vulnerability is to acknowledge and express your emotions, ask for help, share experiences, set boundaries and be kind to yourself. Break up into smaller groups and practice vulnerability with your group.
5. Is there something that use to be shameful in your life that is now your testimony? If yes, please share with the group.
