This week's message focused on how we can recognize prejudice in ourselves and the world around us and overcome it. Consider these questions as they apply to you.
1.) If you were honest with yourself, what group of people might you have a prejudice against? (Chris mentioned those who love the LA Dodgers)
2.) Do you believe everyone struggles with prejudice? Why or why not?
3.) Why do you think prejudice and racism are so difficult to break down? Where do you see still see prejudice and racism, and their effects, in our culture today? In our churches?
4.) What do you learn from Jesus in how he broke down walls between culture, between tribes, between ethnic or racial groups of people?
5.) What practical steps can you take to build friendships across cultural barriers in your neighborhood, work, and church?
