Mental Health Social Media Coordinator Internship
Position Description
Work in the field of Counseling Psychology prior to earning your Bachelor’s degree. Join our team of mental health professionals committed to helping our community. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to help raise awareness of mental health resources, our counseling center and foster positive engagement through social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Design and create engaging social media content, including posts, infographics, videos and blog articles focused on mental health topics, resources and the counseling services we offer.
- Social Media Management: Collaborate with the team to develop campaigns, plan and schedule posts across social media platforms.
- Community Engagement: Respond to posts, comments, questions and feedback from followers in a professional and supportive manner.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Social Media or other related fields).
- Strong interest in psychology, mental health and wellness.
- Basic experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc).
Learning Opportunity
- Gain practical experience in content creation, social media strategy and marketing within the mental health industry.
