About the Event
LivermoreMiddle SchoolStudents
Session 2 of Middle School Small Groups runs from January 8th to March 26th, meeting Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Student Center at CF Livermore. The cost is $30 (which covers a yearly t-shirt, program materials, and meals/snacks), and scholarships are available.
Why Small Groups Matter
Middle school is a pivotal and formative time in your child’s spiritual and personal development. Our small groups provide a safe, welcoming environment where students can grow in their faith, ask questions, and build connections with others who share their beliefs.
Guidance from Christian Adult Mentors: Students benefit immensely from the wisdom, support, and encouragement of trusted adult mentors who model Christ-like living and help guide them in their faith journey.
Belonging to a Christian Community: Middle schoolers need a place where they feel they truly belong. Our small groups foster friendships with other students who are navigating the same life stage, helping them develop a strong Christian cohort that supports and uplifts one another.
Building for the Future: These middle school small groups lay the foundation for transparent, authentic Christian community as they grow into high school. Investing in these relationships now will prepare them for deeper discipleship and stronger faith as they mature.
What We’re Discussing This Session
Here’s a look at the topics we’ll explore together:
1. Let’s Talk About... What to Do When the Future Seems Uncertain
2. Happily Ever After and Everything Before
What does it really mean to be happy?
3. Be Humble
Is it possible to be both humble and confident like Jesus?
We believe this session will be impactful as students build meaningful connections and grow deeper in their understanding of who Jesus is and how He calls us to live.
