Session 2 of High School Small Groups runs from January 12th to April 13th, meeting Sundays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Parchments Cafe. The cost is $30, which covers program materials and snacks. Scholarships are available for those who need assistance.
Why High School Small Groups Are Essential:
The high school years are a time of significant growth and challenge. Research shows that 66% of college students stop attending church after high school. Investing in your student’s spiritual life now can help them build a strong foundation to carry their faith into adulthood.
Small groups provide:
Guidance from Christian Mentors: Teens with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college and report better mental health and decision-making. Our leaders model Christ-like living and create a safe space for students to ask questions and share openly.
A Sense of Belonging: Adolescence can be isolating. High schoolers need a community where they feel understood and valued. Small groups foster authentic connections, reminding students they’re not alone in their faith or struggles.
Support for Navigating Adolescence: From academic pressures to social challenges, small groups offer a safe environment to process life’s difficulties through the lens of faith.
Building these relationships and habits now reinforces the importance of Christian community and sets the stage for lifelong discipleship.
This session’s focus is on helping students deepen their faith and equip them to live out God’s truth in every aspect of their lives.
