Everyday Theology

Throughout the Everyday Theology sermon series, we will explore foundational tenets of the Christian faith as revealed in chapters 5-8 of the book of Romans. Rather than giving us mere knowledge about God and His plan for restoring our relationship with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we will learn from Paul who urges us to understand what it means to have more of God Himself and the life Jesus died to give us — right now and for eternity.

Next Step

Cornerstone has several next steps, but in this series, we'll focus in on five of them: salvation, baptism, generosity, serving and community. Learn more about our next steps here.

Fear Not

Fear is all around us. It has the potential to inform our decisions and hold us back from being the person God intends us to be. There is a reason why the authors of the Bible write the phrase “fear not” over 300 times.

James

In this series, we'll study James' letter. He had a unique relationship with Jesus on earth, which gives him an interesting perspective. We'll see in his letter how practical his advice is for us in our everyday lives. #bookofjames

The Anatomy of Love

In "The Anatomy of Love," we'll dissect 1 Corinthians 13 and define what it means to love like Jesus. Challenge yourself during this series to memorize the whole chapter as you put these words into practice. #1Corinth13

You Asked For It

Have you ever wondered what followers of Jesus thinks about certain issues, or why Christians believe what they do? One of the major issues facing East Bay churches today is that they’re answering questions no one is asking.

We decided to change that. Well, actually YOU decided to change that when you told us which questions you’d like your church to answer.
