Series: Words & Actions
Words & Actions, Week 2
June 19, 2021 | Becky Fitch
It’s human nature to surround ourselves with people who are similar to us. People with comparable life experience, the same cultural background, worldview, profession, ethnicity, economic status, age demographic. While this isn’t always a bad thing, the Church can represent the most extreme version of this problem more than most other institutions in our society.
But if Jesus is who He said he is, then Christians have to be a people who reflect the inclusivity of God’s Kingdom that Jesus proclaimed and lived out. Join Pastor Becky Fitch as she explores the depth that is God’s radically inclusive Kingdom.

Are a person’s words or actions more important? Which speaks louder? Is what you say connected to what you do?
We can all agree that the connection between words and actions matter, even in the church. If left to our human nature, these two words are a ripple effect into a world of growth or decay. Join us this summer as we look closely at the words and actions of JESUS from the book of Luke. Let’s explore what Jesus said and did and how His examples prompt and lead Cornerstone Fellowship.
