Series: Everyday Theology
Everyday Theology - Romans 8:5-13 - Full Service
September 19, 2020 | Becky Fitch
The Christian life is not about doing good things. The Christian life is not about trying to become a good person so that you can one day end up in a good place.
The Christian life is about having a relationship with God, through living life according to His Spirit. That relationship produces in you a deep, real, love for God and for others. But, it’s going to require us to adopt a completely NEW approach to live: living according to the Spirit, instead of living according to self.

Throughout the Everyday Theology sermon series, we will explore foundational tenets of the Christian faith as revealed in chapters 5-8 of the book of Romans. Rather than giving us mere knowledge about God and His plan for restoring our relationship with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we will learn from Paul who urges us to understand what it means to have more of God Himself and the life Jesus died to give us — right now and for eternity.
