Care Internship

An internship in Care Ministry will promote a broad exposure to all areas of care at Cornerstone.  The Care Intern will work alongside the Director of Care Ministry and be provided with reliable mentoring opportunities in order to gain the skills needed to grow.  Our goal is to better equip interns for lay counseling and recovery programs through real-life experiences. A Care Intern will participate in organizing and facilitating Christian lay counseling, lay counseling education, recovery groups, and training and equipping volunteers.  Individual goals are set with the intent of creating a professional roadmap for future career plans.  Come join the Care Ministry and help us build bridges in our community through the love of Jesus.

Graphic Design Internship

Geeking out over fonts and cool graphics won't be what you do all day (but it'll be part of it!). As a Graphic Design Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to use your creativity to help people understand Jesus on a deeper level. You'll also hone in on your skills as a designer and learn how to practically apply them in a church setting.

Students Internship (High School and Middle School Internships available)

Interning with CF Students will fully expose you to every aspect of youth ministry at Cornerstone.  Gain hands-on experience in: helping run weekend services, planning and executing events and camps, learning how to work on a team in a big church, mentoring students as you challenge them in their spiritual growth, leading a team of volunteers for on-campus ministry at local schools, leading a small group of students each week, and receiving one-on-one training for how to be the best youth worker possible.

Kids Internship

Gain hands-on experience observing and practicing ministry skills with Cornerstone Kids (CF Kids). This internship includes learning the CF Kids New Leader Process:  screening, inviting, interviewing, training and developing quality volunteers.  You'll work with the staff overseeing, implementing, and creating age-appropriate interactive activities, crafts, and programs that help to reinforce the curriculum provided by CF Kids.  You'll also help prepare the age-appropriate classrooms for weekend services as well as special events for children/families.  Responsibilities also may include: shadowing staff and volunteer weekend leads, leading kids' small groups, assisting in writing curriculum, observing Baptism and Child Dedication Classes, learning how the staff invites, equips and encourages volunteers; and some interaction with parents.

Outreach Internship

An internship with our Outreach Ministry will promote a broad exposure to all areas of outreach at Cornerstone. The Intern will work alongside the Outreach Director and the Local Outreach Developer to receive coaching and mentoring around the heart of Outreach both locally and globally. They will gain hands-on experience in developing, planning and executing outreach projects geared toward meeting the practical needs of others, sharing the love of Jesus and accomplishing social change. In addition, they will receive training on the Equipping Church and how to assist others to identify and plug into God’s calling on their lives, all while multiplying ministry. Come join the Outreach Team and we will help you build a professional roadmap for your ministry future.

Video Production Internship

Setting up lights, getting the audio just right, and finally hitting that record button is every Video Production Intern's favorite moment of the shoot. You'll gain hands-on experience that will range from pre-production to post-production on creative video elements for the church. A Video Production Intern will be able to hone in on their craft while also using their creativity to make ideas come to life on screen.

Worship Internship

Gain experience in a variety of areas as you develop under the mentorship of the Cornerstone Worship Team. Grow in areas such as vocal development, musicianship skills, and constant writing projects. Gain experience and knowledge in how to prepare and help execute plans for our weekend services. Learn how to lead and develop other team members through our equipping model and learn how to be the best version of yourself. Grow in your knowledge of Planning Center, Pro Presenter, Abelton and much more. This internship is designed to equip interns for future health and leadership at a church that is effectively reaching its community for Christ.

Production Internship

This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about furthering the mission of the local church through the field of live production; including the diverse areas of audio, lighting, video, stage management, and stagecraft. Interns will work side by side with the Cornerstone Production staff and volunteers to provide live production technology services to weekend services and special events in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be able to grasp technical terms, thrive working in a team and independent environments, be able to follow instructions and retain large amounts of data over time, learn quickly and have the heart to serve people.  Become better at mixing, lighting design, stage design, presentation support, planning and executing weekend services, and most importantly developing your leadership skills so that you are fully equipped for wherever God leads you next.
