Our team of high school students from Livermore, Hayward, and Danville will be traveling by bus to Ensenada, Mexico for a week of Mission Adventures with Youth With a Mission. We'll explore what missions is all about as we work with local churches to reach out to the homeless, the elderly, orphans and the poor to meet both physical and spiritual needs.
Each day will include worship and devotions with the amazing YWAM staff. As you hear God’s Word and put it into practice, your faith will grow as you see God work through you.
If you are interested sign up for the interest list below!
There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, May 5, 2:00-3:00 PM in Room U1 (Livermore Campus, above Parchments Cafe)
*Note: By doing this you are not registering for the trip.
Here are a few comments from last year's team:
“This trip was so much more amazing than I thought it would be. Being able to serve and make relationships in Mexico was one of the best things I have ever been able to do.”
“I saw God give hope to the people in Ensenada. I saw him with all the kids at the orphanage, bringing joy to their hearts, and I saw him with the boys at the rehab center, being with them and keeping them going and keeping them hopefully and giving them more opportunities.”
“I think God has been teaching me to truly be bold in my faith and let nothing stand in my way and not care about what other people think.”
“The staff was so nice and funny, the food was amazing; it was so amazing to be there and be present and be with God, and the living situation was so clean and comfortable and safe.”
“God opened my eyes to fully follow Him and made it clear that I should work in Ensenada at the base. Summer 2020 here I come.”
