Community Life exists to connect people in smaller authentic groups
that help them take their next step with Jesus.

Community is all about connecting in a smaller authentic group that extends the weekend gathering experience into your everyday, ordinary life, helping you take your next step with Jesus.

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
– Romans 12:9-13

Six Ways To Prepare For Your Community Group
BE READY

Pray, have your Bible, provide a light snack and relax.

Be Welcoming

Your first impression counts - smile, greet people at the door and introduce yourself and give time for others to introduce themselves.

Be Aware

You create an atmosphere of equality where all people are viewed as having something important to contribute. Here are 5 questions people are asking.

  1. Do I fit here? This is a question of acceptance.
  2. Does anyone want to know me? This is a question of friendship.
  3. Am I needed? This is a question of value.
  4. What is required in the group? This is a question of expectation.
  5. What is the advantage of joining or continuing this group? This is  question of benefit.
Be Genuine

Be yourself, ask questions, listen, share appropriately.

Be Considerate

Stay on time, guide conversation, come alongside with love.

Be Encouraging

Build up, share leadership, compliment Spiritual growth

Your first few times meeting will be more about fellowship and getting to know one another. YOU set the tone for fun, learning and growing together.

As a leader keeping these in the forefront of your Community Group will help you maintain purpose and intentionality with the people that God has placed in your care.  You will be an advocate for transformative growth and next steps both individually and collectively as a group.
