Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families

Tuesday, 10:30am - 12:00pm | 348 North Canyons Pkwy Livermore CA 94551

This group will not be meeting due to Shelter in Place for Alameda County.   During this time, we encourage you to get connected with a online sanctioned group through ACA. Below is the link to their website. https://adultchildren.org/meeting-search/

Tuesdays, 10:30 - 12pm  Room 201

Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families meet to share the experiences we had as children growing up in an Alcoholic or dysfunctional home.  That experience infected us then, and it affects us today.  By practicing the Tweleve Steps, by focusing on the Solution, and by accepting a Higher Power of our understanding, we find the freedom from the effects of alcoholism and other family dysfunction.  We identify with "The Problem" and learn to live in "The Solution", one day at a time.

Co-Dependency Recovery Group
Group will meet weekly | 6641 Lone Tree Way, Brentwood, CA 94513

Date TBD

No matter how much we want to believe that the heart of co-dependency and recovery lies in the other person, the truth is that it lies in ourselves, in the way we allow other people's behaviors to affect us. Replacing our self-worth in Christ with outside or external sources is not what God intended for you. This recovery group will provide you with the tools needed to regain control of your life through Christ-centered biblical teaching.

If you are interested, please contact us at care@cornerstoneweb.org
