Steve Madsen is the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship. Steve went to Bethany University, Fuller Seminary, and New College Berkeley. He has been in vocational ministry since 1979. Cornerstone began in 1992 as a home Bible study at the Madsen’s. Steve is best known for his straightforward method of Biblical teaching which combines truth, humor and practical application. Steve lives in Livermore with his wife Brenda. They have three sons and 3 daughters-in-laws: Tyler, & Kelly, Andy, & Sarah, Kevin, & Trisha, and their grandsons Gideon and Julien.
Chris works alongside Steve in overseeing the Leadership Team. He also oversees Communications, Weekend Services and Outreach across all Cornerstone campuses. Chris spent close to a decade in the cloud computing industry after graduating with a Business Management degree from San Jose State University. He and his wife Shauna have two boys, Isaiah and Kente.
Collin Lucas oversees Cornerstone’s Operations which includes managing Finance, HR, IT and Facilities across all Cornerstone campuses. Collin has a heart for the church living up to its fullest redemptive potential. Prior to working at Cornerstone, Collin was an I.T. manager and management consultant with experience in Organization Development, Product Development and Project Management. Collin and his wife Denise have 4 children, Jonathan, Megan, Jack and Katie.
Nicole is part of our Leadership team where she serves as our Equipping Champion in all our campuses. Nicole also oversees our internal Cornerstone Central and events. She started as a volunteer in our care ministry and transitioned into a paid position in 2006. Nicole’s background in training and business operations with In-N-Out Burger quickly moved her into operational role here at Cornerstone. Nicole’s heart is to help everyone at Cornerstone discover how God created them to serve in ministry and most importantly to be known and recognized. Nicole and her husband Chris live in Livermore. They have two grown sons Eric and David.
Steve serves the Livermore Campus Pastor. He has a BA in Philosophy and Theology from Point Loma Nazarene University and has been on staff at Cornerstone since September of 2009. Steve married his wife Amanda in 2007 and they have one child, Jericho.
Adrian is the Walnut Creek Campus Pastor leading the staff and ministry programs at the Walnut Creek campus. He grew up in the SF Bay area, and has a strange love for this place! Adrian loves when people discover God’s love for them. Adrian lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife Tonya, his son Nico, and daughter Mia.
Paul serves as Campus Pastor for the Hayward community where he oversees the staff and ministry programs within the Hayward campus. Having been born in Hayward, and spending half his childhood in the surrounding communities, things have come full circle for Paul. An open book, he is happy to share all God has taught him through his handful of successes and many failures. Paul and his wife Kristina, together since their first week of college, have four kids; Kailey, Noah, Ethan and Daphne, who all enthusiastically serve and lead in various areas of ministry at Cornerstone, which they have attended since 1997.
Billy Rieder serves as the Pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship’s Brentwood Campus. His heart is to see the Brentwood community reached with the life changing message of the Gospel. Billy has degrees from USC and Fuller Seminary and comes to Cornerstone having served in full time ministry for over 15 years, including three years as the Cal Football team chaplain. Billy and his wife Christie have two kids, Aidan and Charis.
John oversees Church Development which includes church wide strategic planning as well as stewardship and development of resources to support Cornerstone’s vision. John earned his MBA at UCLA and for 20 years at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as CFO before retiring in 2004. John and his wife Gail have lived in Pleasanton for 28 years near their daughter Laura’s family and their two grandchildren.
Corey is a husband, father, and creative pastor. He is passionate about seeing people experience God in ways that inspire them to pursue God more deeply in their own lives. He is husband to his wife Julie and father to three beautiful daughters, Amiah, Morgan, and Gabrielle.
Matt Warner serves as the Pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship’s Danville Campus. His desire is to see the Danville community, where he grew up, come to know Jesus personally. Matt has degrees from Biola University and Fuller Theological Seminary, but is also really good at belly flops. Matt and Annie have 2 boys, Cole & Liam.
