Support the Persecuted Church - Voice of the Martyrs: December 1-16

An estimated 215 million around the world people suffer persecution because of their Christian faith.  This Christmas season, we can show our love for our Christian family by filling “Action Packs” or “Medical Packs” via Voice of the Martyrs, a Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving the persecuted church.  Choose the “Action Pack”, which you will fill with much-needed supplies like a blanket, toiletries, and t-shirts, or a “Medical Pack”, which will require items like gauze, band-aids, etc.  Both are needed and notes of encouragement and prayers are priceless. How to Fill an Action/Medical Pack:

  1. Click the button below and fill out a short form and complete payment for an Action/Medical Pack. $15 per pack covers the shipping costs (the estimated cost to fill a pack is $30-$35).
  2. Stop by the 12 Days of Serving table during any weekend service and pick up your bag, along with specific instructions and information on how to fill your bag.
  3. Return your filled to the 12 Days of Serving Table by December 16.

Students Thanksgiving Dinner - November 20

Check out this upcoming opportunity to bless our Cornerstone Student Ministry students and friends with a traditional Thanksgiving Meal.  For many, this is their "Thanksgiving" and we want to make this day special for them.  Volunteers needed to provide food, serve during the event, help with set-up/clean-up or donate a bag of groceries.

Write Christmas Cards for Hospital Patients - December 1-9

Write a card or a draw a picture for patients - including children & families - spending Christmas in a local hospital. This is something you can do on your own, with your family, or your Community Group! Bring your cards to church before December 9th.

Salvation Army Community Dinner: December 2

Feeding the hungry in our area is just one way we can shine the light of Jesus this Christmas season.  We will be preparing a Spaghetti Dinner and serving the meal before guests are invited to a church service.  We will then clean up! Make Blankets for Seniors: December 7

7pm to 8:30pm

Let’s show seniors in our community that we care for them!  Many seniors need small blankets that won’t get caught in their wheelchairs but still keep them warm.  Together, we can make the perfect size “no-sew” fleece blankets to be delivered to local senior centers!  This is great for all ages and no sewing experience is needed! All ages are welcome.

Angel Tree Wrapping Party: December 15

9:30am to 6pm

Angel Tree is a program of Prison Fellowship.  Volunteers donate gifts and deliver them to a child on behalf of their parent in prison, helping the parent and child stay connected.  A Cornerstone member and coordinator of Angel Tree is requesting help to get all the donated Christmas gifts wrapped and ready!  If you enjoy wrapping gifts, this project is for you.  Click on the button below to sign up!
